Senate president meets with Afghanistan ambassador

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Al Fayez on Sunday met with Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Jordan Tariq Shah Bahrami to discuss bilateral relations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, Fayez stressed the importance of bolstering bilateral ties, especially in the parliamentary, investment and economic fields.

The senate president also called for developing commercial partnerships between the two countries and exchanging expertise.

Fayez also affirmed that Jordan will spare no effort in seeking the international community’ support and initiating dialogue with various parties to ensure security and stability in Afghanistan.
