Senate president, Azeri ambassador talk parliamentary cooperation

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez and Azeri Ambassador Eldar Salimov on Tuesday discussed means to boost bilateral ties in various fields, especially parliamentary ones, and went over the latest developments in the region.

During the meeting, Fayez lauded the high level of Jordanian-Azeri relations, mainly in economics and politics, stressing the need for further collaboration, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Salimov commended Jordan's major role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, in realising security and stability in the region, stressing his country's commitment to enhancing its relations with the Kingdom.
