Senate president attends ‘Malaket Al Khair’ initiative

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Wednesday attended the "Malaket Al Khair" initiative conference, where he discussed His Majesty King Abdullah's efforts to make Jordan a regional hub for various investments.

At the event’s opening ceremony, which was attended by several ambassadors of Gulf nations, Fayez said that providing an attractive investment environment has always been a priority for His Majesty to enhance economic reform programmes and maximise the role of the private sector to realise sustainable economic development, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He said that despite scarce resources, regional circumstances and their economic, security and societal ramifications, in addition to the COVID-19 pandemic and the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the Kingdom managed to utilise its potential to go ahead with the development process.
