Senate committee hosts Australian envoy

AMMAN — The head of the Senate’s Arab and International Affairs and Expatriates Committee, Nasser Lozi, on Monday hosted Australian Ambassador to Jordan Miles Armitage.
During the meeting, Lozi highlighted the depth of bilateral relations and the importance of enhancing them on various levels, especially in parliamentary fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
For his part, Armitage expressed his country’s keenness to develop cooperation and its appreciation for Jordan’s central role in dealing with regional issues and achieving peace and stability.
