AMMAN — The Senate’s Health Committee members visited the King Hussein Medical Centre on Wednesday and were briefed on what the Royal Medical Services (RMS) offer to patients there.
RMS Director Maj. Gen. Khalaf Sarhan highlighted plans to expand the services offered by RMS to meet the growing number of patients seeking treatment at military hospitals around Jordan.
Sarhan said Mafraq’s King Talal Military Hospital will open soon and Princess Haya Hospital will also start receiving patients from Jerash and Ajloun in the near future.
He also mentioned plans to open a military hospital in Maan and renovate Prince Rashid Hospital in Irbid.
Members of the Senate committee commended the RMS role in Jordan and abroad.
