AMMAN — The Senate on Tuesday approved three draft laws as referred from the Lower House. Senators approved amendments to the Financial Surplus Law that modify the schedule of government units that are included in the law after transferring some units to the General Budget Law, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The Upper House also approved amendments to the Civil Aviation Law after restructuring the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission.

The Senate also approved amendments to the fund for Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and other security agencies’ personnel who died in the line of duty, which aimed at reforming the joint military committee of the fund following the merger of the civil defence and gendarmerie departments into the Public Security Department.
