Security measures in place for announcement of Tawjihi results

AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) on Saturday said it has taken all measures to maintain order and security when the Education Ministry announces the Tawjihi results this week.

The department urged the public to cooperate with authorities and respect the law when celebrating the results of the General Secondary Certificate Examination’s (Tawjihi) summer session.

Any violations can be reported to the police by calling 911, the PSD said.

The majority of violations usually involve motorcades that hinder traffic flow, festive gunfire and the illegal use of fireworks.

The Education Ministry announced earlier that the results will be released after Eid Al Fitr.
