AMMAN — Security apparatus on Tuesday seized 11 firearms, five of which were automatic, and large quantities of ammunition during a raid on a house in Amman, according to a statement by the Public Security Department (PSD).
The PSD said that Anti-Narcotics Department personnel carried out a raid on the house of an individual suspected of possessing a large number of firearms and arrested the suspect, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported. The PSD added that after searching the house, 11 weapons were found, five of which were automatic, in addition to large quantities of ammunition.
