AMMAN — Upon instructions from HRH Prince Ghazi, King’s Special Adviser for Religious and Cultural Affairs and Personal Envoy of His Majesty King Abdullah, the World Islamic Sciences and Education University has decided to grant scholarships for majors in Hanafi or Shafi school of Islamic jurisprudence.
Students with scores above 80 per cent in the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) are eligible to apply.
Priority will be given to the first 50 applicants from each Tawjihi stream, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday.
