AMMAN — President of the Jordan University for Science and Technology (JUST) Saeb Khreisat on Sunday received a delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development, which is financing the university’s radiation treatment centre at a cost of $14.5 million.
The delegates had a firsthand look at the centre’s progress and its preparedness to begin operations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The project is expected to save patient efforts in travelling to Amman for treatment and reduce pressure on the capital's hospitals.
