Saudi Arabia to host next meeting of Arab technical team for media

AMMAN — The first meeting of the Arab technical team tasked with negotiating with international media companies concluded in Amman on Wednesday. During the meeting, organised by the Ministry of Government Communications, they discussed the mechanisms for developing an executive communication and negotiation action plan during the coming period, and welcomed the proposals made by the Kingdom and other member states, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The team members agreed to hold the second meeting in Saudi Arabia next month in order to proceed with the executive action plan. Assistant Secretary-General and Supervisor of the Media and Communication Sector of the Arab League, Ambassador Ahmad Rashid Khattabi, said that the team welcomed Jordan's proposal that includes negotiation steps in line with a unified Arab vision.
