AMMAN — The Health Ministry on Sunday received four kidney dialysis devices worth $32,000, as part of a grant provided by the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) within its continued support since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
SAMS said that the four screens to monitor the dialysis patients' vital signs will be delivered within the next two months, adding that 60,000 face masks will be also provided within the next month, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
SAMS representative in Jordan Osama Abdelrazek said that solidarity in these difficult circumstances is the only way to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.
Abdelrazek added that the society has been working with the government since the outbreak of the pandemic, and continues to support the Ministry of Health's efforts by providing medical supplies and equipment that would enhance capabilities in facing the crisis in the Kingdom.
