Safadi, US state department official discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Ayman Safadi and Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs at the US Department of State Elizabeth M. Allen on Sunday discussed means to enhance cooperation between Jordan and the US in various fields.

The two sides also stressed the “deep-rooted, strategic” partnership between Amman and Washington, and their keenness to further develop it, according to a ministry statement.

Safadi praised US support to Jordan, stressing the importance of this assistance in boosting the development process and in facing regional crises.
