AMMAN — Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Monday discussed political and security developments in Iraq with Special Representative of the Secretary General for the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq Ján Kubiš, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Kubiš briefed Safadi on the efforts exerted to achieve security and stability in Iraq and on the latest developments of the war against Daesh, especially in Mosul. He also reviewed the delivery of humanitarian aid and political efforts to achieve national reconciliation. Safadi reaffirmed Jordan’s support to Iraq in its war against terrorism and national reconciliation process.
