Safadi, OIC secretary general discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Yousef Bin Othaimin on Sunday went over several Arab and Islamic issues and efforts exerted to solve regional crises.

They highlighted the importance of OIC’s role in enhancing cooperation among Islamic countries and unifying their stances to overcome challenges facing the Islamic nation and serve its interests, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Othaimin commended His Majesty King Abdullah’s efforts to serve Islamic causes and enhance joint Islamic action.
