Safadi meets with Iraqi, Egyptian officials ahead of trilateral summit

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Adnan Jundi on Saturday participated in a meeting hosted by Cairo for the foreign ministers and intelligence chiefs of Jordan, Egypt and Iraq.
The meeting was held in preparation for the trilateral summit, which saw the participation of His Majesty King Abdullah, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The summit aimed at finding practical steps and programmes to develop cooperation and integration among the three countries, in a way that enhances joint Arab action and cooperation and contributes to supporting development endeavours by Arab nations.
