Safadi meets German parliamentary delegation

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Monday met a German delegation headed by MP Nils Schmid, spokesperson on Foreign Affairs of the parliamentary group of the Social Democratic Party in the German Bundestag, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

During the meeting, Safadi emphasised the "distinguished relations" between both countries, stressing mutual keenness to advance cooperation in various fields to serve common interests.

Safadi acquainted the guest delegation with the Kingdom's efforts to resolve regional crises and maintain regional security and stability.

The German delegation commended the Kingdom's efforts to enhance regional security and stability, as well as its humanitarian role in support of the refugees.
