AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi held on Friday talks with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani to discuss ways to strengthen the historic fraternal ties between the two kingdoms and address regional developments.

The ministers, meeting on the sidelines of the 21st Manama Dialogue, organised by the International Institute for Strategic Studies and hosted by Bahrain, emphasised their shared commitment to expanding cooperation across various fields and enhancing coordination on regional issues, according to a Foreign Ministry’s statement.

Safadi and Al Zayani also discussed the situation in Gaza, underlining the need to uphold the ceasefire, ensure immediate and adequate delivery of humanitarian aid and advance a comprehensive approach that guarantees security, stability and reconstruction in the Strip, while opening a path toward a just and lasting peace based on a two-state solution.
