Safadi congratulates new Romania foreign minister

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Thursday telephoned new Romanian Foreign Minister Luminita Odobescu, congratulating her on assuming office. During the call, both sides reaffirmed “the profound friendship” between the Kingdom and Romania and expressed their shared commitment to expanding cooperation across various sectors, according to a Foreign Ministry statement. Both ministers underscored the significance of further strengthening bilateral relations in the fields of economy, investment, tourism, culture, defence and security. They deliberated on strategies to activate collaboration and reached an agreement to schedule a forthcoming meeting for in-depth discussions on the subject.
