Safadi, Bahraini counterpart discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi held a phone call on Tuesday with his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

Safadi and Al Zayani discussed the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Bahrain and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of both countries, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

The two ministers also reviewed regional developments and their implications for regional and international peace and security, as well as prospects for joint coordination to strengthen Arab cooperation, in addition to several issues of mutual concern.
