RSS signs two deals with Public Works Ministry

AMMAN — The Ministry of Public Works signed two cooperation agreements on Sunday with the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) in the fields of quality control related to outputs of quarries and sites producing concrete mixtures.

Public Works Minister Sami Halaseh and the executive director of RSS labs, Tareq Abdul Aziz, signed the agreements at a meeting attended by HRH Princess Sumaya, RSS president.

The princess stressed the importance of the agreements.

Under the deals, the RSS will conduct lab tests to control the quality of materials used for construction and road projects conducted by the ministry.

The society will also monitor outputs produced in quarries to make sure they meet technical standards.
