RSS honours 2018 World Academy of Science Award winners

AMMAN — Deputising for the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) president, HRH Princess Sumaya, RSS Vice President Mohammed Hamdan on Wednesday honoured the winners of the 2018 World Academy of Sciences Award, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday.

The award was shared by Omar Dawoud, from Philadelphia University, and Suhair Sonnukrut, from Zaytoonah University, for their “outstanding” contributions to the global scientific field.

Delivering a speech on behalf of HRH Princess Sumaya, Hamdan said that “scientific research is the basis for the progress of nations and the prosperity of civilisations”.
