AMMAN — A Royal Decree has been issued appointing Ahmad Hasanat as grand mufti, as of 5 November 2023. Another Royal Decree was issued, accepting the resignation of Abdul Karim Khasawneh from his position as grand mufti, as of 5 November 2023.
