AMMAN — The Royal Hashemite Court on Sunday announced four days of mourning following the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar.
The Royal Court said in a statement that the mourning period was declared under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah and takes effect on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
The Royal Hashemite Court also conveyed the deepest condolences of His Majesty King Abdullah and the Jordanian people to Qatar's leadership and people, expressing solidarity with them during this time of grief.
