RJAF sends 2 aircraft carrying family-sized tents to Turkey

AMMAN — Following Royal directives to help the those injured and the families of victims of the earthquake that hit Syria and Turkey, the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) sent two aircraft to Adana airport in Turkey, carrying 480 family-sized tents from the regional office of UNHCR to the earthquake-affected areas, the Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday.
This batch is part of 10,000 tents that will be supplied via an air bridge established between the two countries, according to a ministry statement. The ministry's spokesperson, Sinan Al Majali, stressed that the Kingdom is continuing to provide assistance to those affected by the earthquake in both countries.
