AMMAN — In the presence of HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Centre (KHCC), KHCF signed a cooperation agreement with Royal Jordanian Airline (RJ), designating it as the official carrier for the King Hussein Cancer Research Award for 2025.
The agreement, signed by KHCF Director-General Nisreen Qatamish and RJ Vice Chairman and CEO Samer Majali, underscores RJ's national role in supporting scientific initiatives and encouraging innovation in cancer research, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
Majali said that RJ continues to support KHCF in its various programmes and activities in its fight against cancer, which reflects the “genuine” partnership between the two entities and contributes to achieving the foundation's medical and humanitarian mission of providing the best possible treatment for patients.
He stressed the airline’s commitment to its national role and social responsibility aimed at supporting and serving the Jordanian society.
RJ was one of the sponsors of the foundation's annual charity gala in 2025 to support the fight against cancer and continues its campaign to donate Royal Club frequent flyer programme to support KHCF's programmes and events, as well as to support the travel of patients and their families.
