RJ following up on crew bus collision in New York

AMMAN — Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) said that a collision involving the bus transporting the crew of flight RJ8261 occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.

The bus was carrying 15 airline crew members, including two Thai flight attendants, while transporting them from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to their place of accommodation, according to an RJ statement.

RJ said that the accident resulted in the death of one crew member, while the remaining injured are in stable condition and receiving the necessary medical care.

The airline expressed its profound sorrow over this unfortunate incident, offering its condolences and sympathies to the family of the deceased, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

RJ stressed that it was closely following developments in coordination with the relevant authorities and would continue to monitor the condition of the injured and provide them with the necessary support.
