Researchers from Jordan’s NARC win Ideal Employee Award

AMMAN — Two researchers from Jordan's National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), Alaa Wahbeh and Manal Hiary, won the Ideal Employee Award in the supervisory and specialised categories, respectively.
This year represents the award’s 14th edition, a statement from NARC said.
NARC Director-General Nizar Haddad said that to the Centre seeks to highlight its employees' achievements by enabling them to nurture their ideas by creating a positive and competitive environment to ensure that the overall performance of the government body complies with the highest standards of efficiency and excellence.
"This award is one of the programmes to helps encourage performance efficiency in the civil service, which promotes excellence in all ethical and professional dimensions, and uses all available resources to ensure quality and timely services.”
Since its inception, 21 NARC employees have received the award.
Haddad also noted the distinguished role played by the Civil Service Bureau, commending its transparency in selecting the winners, as well as its continual commitment to developing and updating the award categories.
Wahbeh and Hiary were honoured for their achievements in a ceremony held at NARC headquarters following the official ceremony held by the Civil Service Bureau.
