AMMAN — Blumont, an NGO that works for the benefit of refugees and host populations, with support from UNHCR, on Wednesday announced that it had started registration for the Jordan Livelihood Project.

In a statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the organisation said that the project aims to support registration, licensing and offer the necessary support for home-based businesses in the food manufacturing, handicrafts and home services in Irbid, Mafraq, Amman and Maan.

Caroline Haddad, director of Blumont Jordan office, expressed happiness over the launch of the project for the third consecutive year as part of Jordan’s response plan to the Syrian crisis.
