Regent meets US Congress delegates

AMMAN – HRH Prince Feisal, the Regent, on Tuesday met with a US Congress delegation chaired by Republican Senator Jason Chaffetz, a Royal Court statement said. The Regent expressed Jordan’s appreciation of the US Congress for its support and the fruitful partnership with the Kingdom.

He outlined the security challenges and the situation in the region especially the Syrian crisis, the Iraqi situation and the anti-terrorism drive. He stressed the importance of working out sustainable solutions that would enable Jordan to face the current challenges, including the refugee burden and unemployment resulting in economic slowdown.
