AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Tuesday visited the security personnel injured in the overturn of one of their military vehicles, while implementing joint security duty between the General Directorate of Gendarmerie Forces, the Public Security Department and the Anti-Narcotics Department in Al Lubban, in southern Amman.
The prime minister wished the injured a speedy recovery and praised the efforts of security services to combat narcotics trafficking, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Razzaz stressed that the government, under the Directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, would not compromise and there would be no “wasta” (nepotism) or favouritism on narcotic issues.
