AMMAN — Her Majesty Queen Rania visited Abu Dhabi on Monday to pay her respects following the passing of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the late president of the United Arab Emirates.
Her Majesty was accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Princess Alia Bint Al Hussein and Princess Aisha Bint Al Hussein, and Her Highness Princess Zeina Al Feisal.
During the brief visit, Queen Rania extended her condolences to Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, president of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and Mother of the Nation, according to a statement from Her Majesty’s office.
She also offered her condolences to the late Sheikh’s spouse, Sheikha Shamsa Bint Suhail Al Mazrouei.
