Queen Noor chairs Ethmar institute board meeting

AMMAN — Her Majesty Queen Noor on Monday chaired a meeting of the board of the Ethmar Islamic microfinance institution, and stressed the importance of supporting it to be a model for economic empowerment, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported Monday.

Ethmar foundation, affiliated with the King Hussein Foundation, started operating in late 2015 and aims at fighting poverty and unemployment through financing people with limited income and owners of microprojects, Petra added.
