Queen meets First Lady of the United States Jill Biden at the White House

AMMAN — Her Majesty Queen Rania met with the First Lady of the United States, Dr Jill Biden, at the White House on Monday, while accompanying His Majesty King Abdullah and HRH Crown Prince Hussein on a working visit to Washington, D.C.

The meeting was the first to be held between Her Majesty and Dr Biden since she became First Lady, and comes while His Majesty King Abdullah is on his first visit to the US after President Biden assumed office in January.

During the meeting, Queen Rania and Dr Biden discussed various issues of common interest, according to a statement from Her Majesty’s Office.
