AMMAN — Queen Alia Foundation for Hearing and Speech provided 1,409 free health services to the Jordanian community during 2023. The services included hearing, nose and throat examinations, and adjustment of hearing aids for patients, as well as training and speech consultations.
The foundation also offered hearing aids for more than 108 cases of the needy in areas where there is a lack of hearing and speech treatment, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Headed by HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, the foundation, established in 1978, is a charitable volunteer medical foundation leading regional institutions related to the rehabilitation of patients with hearing impairment and speech problems.
