Qatari ambassador extends greetings to Jordan on 75th Independence Day

AMMAN — Qatari Ambassador in Jordan Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Bin Jassim Al Thani on Monday said that Qatari-Jordanian relations enjoy the potential for further cooperation and integration in the economic, investment, political and military levels, among others.

On the occasion of Jordan’s 75th Independence Day, Sheikh Saud extended greetings to His Majesty King Abdullah and the Jordanian people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The ambassador also said that bilateral relations, since its inception at the level of ambassadors in 1972, have witnessed remarkable development in all fields.

He also said that some 60,000 Jordanians live in “their second home, Qatar,” highlighting the increasing trade and expertise exchange under both countries’ leaderships’ directives and the similar stances of Doha and Amman over the main issues.
