Public works minister visits housing project in Qatar

AMMAN — Minister of Public Works and Housing Yahya Kisbi on Thursday, on the sidelines of his visit to Qatar, toured the Barahat Al Janoub project in the Al Wakrah region.

The Barahat Al Janoub project includes 1,400 housing units for some 76,000 workers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Kisbi was acquainted with the stages of construction and the facilities, lauding the efforts put in the project.

He also expressed keenness to advance Jordanian-Qatari cooperation in the field of housing, notably the exchange of expertise.
