Public works minister meets with Australian ambassador

AMMAN — Minister of Public Works and Housing Ahmad Maher Abul Samen on Monday met with Australian Ambassador Bernard Lynch and discussed means to enhance cooperation in the construction sector. Abu Al Samen reviewed key projects implemented by the ministry in the areas of roads, buildings and vital public facilities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The Australian ambassador praised the continuous development in Jordan, reiterating Australia's appreciation of Jordan’s humanitarian role towards refugees and the refugee crisis’ implications on infrastructure. The ambassador stressed Australia's readiness to provide support for pioneering and strategic projects.
