Public Works minister explores enhanced cooperation with Saudi Fund for Development

AMMAN — Minister of Public Works and Housing Maher Abu Al Sammen on Monday discussed ways to enhance cooperation with the Saudi Fund for Development. Minister's remarks came during a meeting with a fund's delegation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. He also stressed the ministry's readiness to strengthen cooperation with the fund and overcome any obstacles affecting the progress of the funded projects. Abu Al Sammen also commended the Saudi Fund's support for building projects benefitting the education sector, contributing to improving the educational process and addressing issues of classroom overcrowding in schools. School building projects supported by the Saudi Fund for Development include 5 projects in the implementation phase and 11 in the referral stage, with a total value of approximately JD34 million.
