Public Security Department marks Arbour Day

AMMAN — The Public Security Department’s (PSD) participation in maintaining forests and increasing green areas is part of modern police work, PSD Director Gen. Tawfiq Tawalbeh said Saturday.
During a ceremony held at Manja Badia Police Station to celebrate Arbour Day, Tawalbeh said the PSD, through the Rangers, seeks to unify efforts aimed at preserving the Kingdom’s green cover in cooperation with relevant parties and the public, who can file complaints against any environmental violation.
Tawalbeh and other PSD members planted trees in the area surrounding the police station, according a PSD statement.
