Public sector employees to receive leadership training — minister

AMMAN — Minister of Public Sector Development Yasera Ghosheh on Sunday attended the inauguration of a programme to build the leadership capacities of public sector employees.
Some 53 employees from 27 public departments in the northern region are participating in the programme, which aims to develop their skills and provide training programmes to keep up with global developments, Ghosheh said in a ministry statement.
The ministry is organising the two-week programme in Irbid in cooperation with the USAID-funded Takamul programme. The course, made up of 80 training hours, focuses on strategic planning, human resources management and project management, the statement added.
