PSUT student wins 1st place in Umniah writing competition

AMMAN — A student from Princess Sumaya University for Technology’s (PSUT) King Hussein School of Computing Sciences, Omar Al Rahwanji, won first place at the Jordan university level in Umniah’s third Arabic writing competition, "The 8Log", for his article titled "Has the development of mobile devices reached the beginning of the end?" The criteria used by the judging panel to select the winning articles included the use of concise and clear language, a simple and uncomplicated style, and the inclusion of new and interesting information, according to a PSUT statement.
Umniah launched the blog, which embraces a community of writers, readers and researchers to celebrate Arabic Language Day, under the slogan "Information with Technology", with the aim of enriching Arabic technical content on the Internet, and strengthening Jordan's position as a hub for innovation and human resources.
