PSD’s Ramadan initiative focuses on road safety

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) is continuing with its Ramadan initiative, "Slow down, have your iftar with us", which aims to provide drivers and passengers with iftar meals at sunset during the holy month of fasting, encouraging people to drive carefully.

The PSD’s Highway Patrol teams provide dates, water and iftar meals and allocate tables for those who wish to rest at a number of stations on highways, the PSD said in a statement.

The PSD affirmed its readiness to ensure a safe environment during the holy month of Ramadan.
