AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that flying objects fell on some parts of the Kingdom, affirming that no injuries were reported from falling shrapnel shells.
PSD announcement came as people were sharing on social media networks videos of projectiles flying over their regions with many intercepted and downed over unidentified locations.
Israel's military said Friday that dozens of "additional missiles" were launched, shortly after a salvo of missiles from Iran were intercepted or made impact throughout the country, according to AFP.
"The attack is ongoing. Dozens of additional missiles were launched toward the State of Israel," the military said in a statement, informing the public that "the explosions you are hearing are from interceptions or fallen projectiles".
Iran's Revolutionary Guards said Friday they launched an attack on dozens of targets in Israel after its large scale attack on the Islamic repiblic.
“The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps... has executed its decisive and precise response against tens of targets, military centres and airbases of the usurping Zionist regime in the occupied territories," the Guards said in a statement carried by state media, AFP said.
