PSD marks 94th anniversary

AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) celebrated its 94th anniversary on Saturday at the special desert brigade. PSD Director Maj. Gen.

Tawfiq Tawalbeh and several PSD retirees attended the ceremony, according to a PSD statement.

Tawalbeh said the ceremony is a motivation to build on past achievements and remember the martyrs who gave their lives to defend the Kingdom.

A number of drills and exercises were performed during the ceremony, the statement said.

Public Security Department (PSD) personnel on Tuesday started wearing their new uniform, the PSD media centre said. All members of PSD units should now wear this uniform under a decision by PSD Director Maj. Gen. Tawfiq Tawalbeh that was issued last month.
