PSD to honour 25 inmates for passing Tawjihi

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah on Saturday directed officials to honour 25 inmates at correctional and rehabilitation centres (CRCs) who passed the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi).

Maaytah instructed the heads of centres to honour the successful students, motivate them and allow them to meet their families to celebrate the occasion, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The centres provided the appropriate conditions for those who wanted to sit for Tawjihi, in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Education. Out of 56 inmates who took the examination, 25 succeeded.The highest average of those who passed was 87.45.
