PSD, GAM sign water cooperation agreement

AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) and the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) signed an agreement on Monday under which GAM will receive water from the water treatment and desalination plant at the PSD to be used for watering trees and plants in Amman.

PSD Director Maj. Gen. Atef Saudi said the agreement works to ensure optimal use of natural resources. Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji said the agreement will contribute to GAM’s efforts to turn the capital into a green city by 2020.
