PSD director meets with Lebanese counterpart

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Thursday discussed issues of common interest with his Lebanese counterpart Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim. 

During the meeting, Hawatmeh emphasised the importance of enhancing the two countries ’existing cooperation and expertise exchange in different fields, notably in the technical and training sectors. 

Praising the reputation of the Kingdom’s PSD at the local and international levels, the top Lebanese security official reiterated the necessity of strengthening and opening new channels of communication and coordination between Amman and Beirut, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
