PSD director, Italian delegation discuss bolstering security cooperation

AMMAN — Director of the Public Security Department (PSD) Maj. Gen. Fadel Hmoud and Italian Ambassador to Jordan Fabio Cassese, along with an Italian delegation of police officers, on Tuesday discussed the means of boosting security cooperation.

Hmoud underscored the “deep” relationship between the two countries’ security agencies, adding that they reflect the strong ties of both nations’ leadership, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Ambassador Cassese praised the PSD’s personnel for their professionalism in dealing with citizens, residents and visitors. The ambassador also expressed his keenness to bolster cooperation and coordination between the two countries’ police and security personnel.
