PSD director, AIMC secretary general discuss Arab security cooperation

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Thursday met with Secretary General of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council (AIMC) Mohammad Kuman to discuss bolstering cooperation among Arab security forces, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, Hawatmeh highlighted the importance of cooperation among Arab security forces to enhance the quality of service provided to the public and to enhance law enforcement by exchanging knowledge and keeping up with best practices.
Hawatmeh also expressed PSD's keenness to strengthen pan-Arab cooperation and to bolster security institutions and their ability to combat crime.
Lauding PSD’s accomplishments, Kuman extended appreciation towards the directorate’s role in maintaining channels of communication and collaboration, coordinating Arab security plans, and uniting Arab action to consolidate the security of Arab nations.
